This is almost one of the most common debates ever. Yet no 100% proof has ever been found, could aliens still exist?

Well in science you will never find 100% proof for anything. You only ever gather evidence to support a hypothesis via experimentation and observation. In other words something can be 99%, 99.99%, or even 99.9999999999% proven but nothing is ever truly an absolute fact. We only use the word "fact" for the sake of convenience.

Yes. Of course there is. How conceited can be as a race of beings to believe in the vastness of the universe there isn't another race capable of space-flight? That's the height of ignorance and folly, in my opinion. They already exist, just like we do. However, have they visited us a fair bit, as much as been claimed? Probably not. They probably don't even care about our underdeveloped planet or they have their eyes set on it already. 50% to 75% of reports on UFOs identify them as man-made flying disasters or machines, that's why they fail and crash.

Just think like this: if they have hyperspace technology and can move between galaxies on a whim - a planet with an atmosphere is not going to cause them crash or malfunction. They have to deal with higher strains travelling. So why then do we have so many issues of "crashed UFOs"? Simple. It's not aliens, it's the government or experiments kept under wraps from the general public. To think anything else is again, ignorance. You can believe what you want, but if you don't see the simple truths you're just lying to yourself.

so, TL;DR yes. They do exist, I believe in them, and they are real. However, almost all documented cases probably WERE not aliens, and just failed experiments. There are probably a couple legit cases.

I'm not so sure. The universe is billions of years old. It is very likely that several civilizations could have lived, thrived, then wiped themselves out before life even began on our planet. The likely hood that a civilization would develop at the same time as us isn't that great. Supposing that aliens don't have religious extremism among them then that might be different. They may not wipe themselves out and may still exist. A civilization that's millions of years old. I wonder what kind of politics they would have?

I couldn't imagine it being different then the republic from star wars as an example. Or the Empire, somebody that has ruled with an iron fist for a long time type situation. Suffice it to say I shouldn't use Star Wars analogies, but I think they would have a basis like that if they've managed to survive for so long. I hope it'd be an enlightened planet with beings with carbon shape and form not unlike us who are different in ideologies. Or they could be like the Hive from DESTINY, just destroying and converting space for their 'gods' and wipe out lesser civilizations - brute force and survival through Darwinism. There's so many options and theories that so many things overlap. It's hard to really compare.

Back on to the original topic, I still feel it would be ignorant to assume that we were alone. Even if this means not being visited, or having any knowledge of outside names, histories, or otherwise. I believe the hubble telescope, if it manages to fly true may one day locate a neighbor in our own galaxy who lives. There's no data to suggest we've searched every available place. Even if this doesn't mean intelligent life, as well, but microrganisms and bacteria. We might have even been "aliens" to this planet ourselves. A blossoming survey said being pounded by comets/asteroids at our formation in World history brought unknown organisms that were until then trapped in the cold, dense ice. This basically started to popularly coined term, "Primordial Soup/Stew/Ooze" whence life truly was though to have sprung. If science is to be believed.

So, in essence we might have all not naturally been here to begin with, but landed here. Quite a concept to think eh. UFOs seem highly legit if you view it from different angles, even if not by our own hands by some foreign element.

After all, UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object, so that could be applied to comets and asteroids. They are foreign elements, so they count.

Asking if UFO's are real and if aliens exist doesn't really make much sense first of all, a UFO doesn't have to be alien related. UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object.

Anyways there certainly are UFO's because we cant identify everything that happens on this planet and the universe. There are certain things that we as civilians just dont fully understand and comprehend and because of this we panic. The government tries to explain everything to us but in my opinion there is another civilization out there that has and will continue to interfere with us here down on Earth. This civilization has helped us advance throughout time. I would bet any amount of money that there are atleast a few civilizations out there that are somewhat similar to us. We are not the only ones in this universe.

Aliens are a possibility. It would be a waste of space to create such a vast universe with only one planet with life. I can think Drake's Equation and stuff like this. By virtue of semantic, UFO can be anything unidentified and flying. However, I will stick to the notion that UFOs are usually connected to alien life.

The galaxy in Starwars was crawling with life. It's not the same way with our galaxy. We are the only known planet with life. I wouldn't doubt if there were others but I don't think there are hundreds of planets with intelligent life out there like it is on Starwars.

I do agree that there is almost certainly life of some kind out there in space. There are hundreds of planets capable of sustaining life out there so I don't see any reason why at least a few of them wouldn't have at least bacterial level life.

I voted yes because a UFO means "Un-identified flying object". It is indeed a real thing, but we can't redefine an acronym. If you mean aliens as in actual beings then that's something else. I'm sure there are other forms of life like organisms. Are there animals out there or insects? That would be pretty interesting I think. Space animals could be pretty cool and as normal as a pet here. One thing is for certain;we hardly know much.

ROFL. Yeah technically speaking there have definitely been UFO sightings. Heck, I see UFOs every day. There are tons of flying objects that I can't identify.

Of course I suppose it is talking about flying objects that the government wasn't able to identify. The fact that I don't know what it is doesn't mean much I don't guess.

The acronym has taken on a different meaning over the course of time though. That usually happens to a lot of words. They evolve and change from their original meaning.

To me this is a question that I'm 50:50 on. I think that there is the possibility that they could exist, but at the same time, it's one of those things that I have to see to believe in.

It's true that some UFO sightings are almost undeniable especially when entire cities claim to have seen a UFO how can you deny that an entire city saw a UFO that literally makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I can see if one to or even 20 people would lie about it but thousands of people that makes absolutely no sense.

It's just one of those questions that depend on the experiences of the person. If you see a UFO and know what you saw was real then their's opinion will be their real, whereas if you have never seen one then you may say they aren't real or you may not be sure. Either way we won't know unless we either find find and study one to gain definitive proof or we scour the entire universe visiting every inch of it and find nothing. Me personally am not sure, but I would like to think that there are plenty of things that we don't have an answer. If we knew everything about everything, wouldn't things be a little boring.

With things like this you have to ask yourself "Is there any reason to believe in it?". There are many things that you could believe in. The only way you know if what you are believing is right is if there is solid evidence to support it. Is there any evidence to support the existence of UFOs and aliens? Not that I know of.
