Favorite Band/Artist?

I'd have to go with Nirvana or Pearl Jam. Alice in Chains isn't bad, and is worth mentioning. Plenty of other fantastic 90's era music.

Though, as the overall band who's still kicking and that releases quality music, The Red Hot Chili Peppers. I'm into the Alt genre pretty hard.

Who's yours?

My favorite band of all time is Led Zeppelin. I've recently gotten into Lowell Fulsom and I just discovered a local band called "The Northern Hues". Both are really good!

Too much to name honestly. I constantly cycle through so much music, it's hard to choose haha. It's safe to say just about all the Alt rock bands from the 80's-early 00's. On the Trance scene, Paul Oakenfold/DJ Tiesto/Deadmau5/Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance, ect. I'll listen to just about any J-rock/pop/trance/edm. Epic Music: Two Steps From Hell, ES Posthumous, X-Ray Dog, Immediate Music. I can go on and on haha.

If you like Trance scene, and you mentioned Paul, I'm sure you Van Dyk and Transeau (BT) too eh? I like them. I'm like you, too many to name; suffice it say I dislike rap and country though.

Wow, a lot of oldies but goodies on here!

My favourite in no particular order:

1. NAS - the best rapper to ever live.
2. Radiohead - The best band to ever live.
3. Bloc Party - They were the first band I saw live, and at a mjusic festival also. The feeling I had when they came on was unforgettable, and their music similarly so to me. (they're a UK band if you guys are wondering)
4. Red Hot Chilli Peppers - For their drummer.
5. Black coffee - Possibly the best deep vocal house DJ out there right now :)

My favourite band would have to be Hollywood Undead. From time to time I start to listen to other bands for a while like Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin, Red, but I always go back to Hollywood Undead. I love their sound and lyrics, and the diverse sound, though anything that's rock or metal I will probably like.

I really like Two Steps From Hell. They have some great music that's really fun to listen to while I'm programming or writing on forums.

Lindsey Stirling in also a pretty good artist. I'm not too crazy about all of her music but some of it is really cool.

A lot of the Hobbit music was good (Song of the Lonely Mountain, I See Fire, etc.).

I agree with BenAlphamale, Hollywood undead are the best band in my opinion. I went to see them live and they were astounding. The atmosphere was brilliant and their music was phenomenal.

Hmm, I think I'll choose Linkin Park. I didn't even liked this genre of music, but since I discoverd this band a while ago, I have to say I felt in love with their music.

My favourite band or artist can differ depending on what mood I am in at the time. I like a lot is the 90's american bands, nirvana, pearl jam, sound garden, that style of music. Rage against the machine, metallica and ACDC are my more heavier favourites, also, being from Manchester here in the UK, I have a soft spot for bands like the stone roses, the smiths and oasis.
From the music that's around at the moment, two bands stick out for me, foo fighters, and a British up and coming band called royal blood.

Avenged Sevenfold will always be number one in my book! Otherwise Slipknot, 30 Seconds to Mars, Staind, Evanescence, StoneSour, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, Disturbed, Utada Hikaru, 3 Days Grace, Pentatonix, Lindsey Stirling and many more. I like lots of different music and even have anime/gaming music that I listen to in the car.

Yup definitely. There's too many to name darnit! Ditto on the rap and country. I think I can handle Eminem's early stuff with Slim Shady but that's about the extent of it. Country is blegggggggggggggggh. I can't freaking relate whatsoever. I also hate wailing noises with a passion.
