XBox 360 Hello Xtremer's, Lets Get A Good Thread On Xbox 360 Related Material Going On Up In Here!

Hello & Good Evening Fellow Gamers

I thought it would be nice to bring more Xbox 360 content to this forum. Lets start with the most recent game(s) you are playing now?

These days I find myself playing more Destiny than anything else. This is the very MMO FPS I have ever actually got into. Yes thats right, a true game who does not generally like very many First-Person-Shooter type games.

My Husband and Friends convinced me over this past summer to just download the free demo, so I did to appease them. Wouldn't you know it, it just so happen to suck me in from the very beginning

Now I have three Max Level 32 characters.

There just feels like there is so much to explore. From doing strikes to P.V.P. back to the expansive free roaming planets & grinding your vendors reputation. ( Rank )

The bounties that are refreshed every day are another way for even max-level characters to have something to do in my opinion. Bounties are certain "tasks" if you will, such as
Predator and Prey ~ Kill 20 enemies without taking damage from them. There are Crucible bounties ( P.V.P ) an example would be, That's How I Roll Earn 5 Multi-kill medals. Just to name a couple. Anyone else out there in gaming land playing Destiny?

In closing let me impart this video for the Veteran players, and even most people. Almost anyone can get a huge laugh out of this Destiny parody and even my closing comes from what a vendor in Tower says.

Until The Next Time
Timmi

Oh look Eric, I figured it out! lol

The last 360 game I played was GTA V. When I bought my 360, I was excited as hell, but never really got around to playing it. When GTA V came along, it kind of breathed fire into my console and then suddenly I was playing everyday! Other than that, I absolutely love Forza 4.

Nope, never heard of Scared 2, I will have to look into it. I'm always looking for games I've never played and this one makes the list. Just pulled up a Wiki on it and it looks amazing. Thanks Eric for the suggest! :)

I actually think it might be time to upgrade to the next generation of consoles for me soon. Or maybe I'll just stick to PC gaming. There's not a whole lot coming out for the 360 that I like these days. I mainly use it to play older games that I've missed.

Im all for PCs.

No reason to buy another 400$ piece of hardware every 2 years (Especially when the console makers block backwards compatibility... forcing you to buy a new console).

I still have my PC from 2006, it still works 100% just fine.

I like PC's but I just cannot tear myself away from consoles. I agree with you about the backwards compatibility, it is total B.S.

Lately I have been using E-bay to recollect all of the old systems and games, my collection is ever growing.
My latest edition was Castlevania 2 for the N.E.S. I was so happy when it finally came I must have played it for almost 2 days straight lol.

While I strongly agree with what Eric said about prices and having to buy consoles, I don't mind having to buy them. Especially if that means I can continue to travel with the group of friends I've made over Xbox Live (or in other peoples' cases, PSN or WII). Plus each console has reasons to buy it; game franchises that are loyal to the name or have signed a contract. Plus some of the consoles graphics are so fluid and vivid for these single player games that it blows my mind, like the PS4 Uncharted Series or the Assassin Creed Games on the Xbox One. Each system has their own strengths. But it is unfair we're forced to pay for it. These consoles are no different then a TV or a Computer, they're all under one massive category: Media Platforms. The games should be what you are charged for; not the console or means to view or play it. The movies. The entertainment itself.

People might argue spending money on tablets, smartphones and things of that nature are silly too, but they're still just media platforms. It's amazing to see how much they differ from each other and keep evolving on their own. PC will always reign supreme for me though, grew up on it, and I still love all the old MMOs and games I played with many an online family.

I like Destiny myself, and I love to play the Xbox Minecraft and Terraria.

I agree about having to pay for them, thats why I wait until I can ebay it. :) And What, what? Someone else besides me plays Terraria! I know Minecraft is still all the rage but I think my old school mind just love Terraria more. What do you think?
