NES I found this Mario video on Youtube and found it to be kind of cool.

Hello everyone. I was just surfing Youtube and I found this "History" of Super Mario. It goes though all of the games from old to current. Even though it was over 2 hours I actually watched the whole thing. It makes me feel like a kid again. Thought you other Mario lovers might like to take a look-see. Enjoy! :)

It just reminded me a lot of my childhood. Times like when life was easy and the only concern was you had one life left and no continues! lol. Glad you liked it :)
This game has definitely come a long way. My uncle told me that he always wanted to see a version of Mario that wasn't 2D, where players can actually move around more freely and see the surroundings. I can't wait to see how the game will evolve in another 5 - 10 years.
There are so many Mario games I have not played. No wonder this was over 2 hours long. I didn't realize there were 410 titles either until I did a little research in Wiki. Mario has definitely come a long way and is still going strong. Thanks for sharing the video PrideKidd !
I know pandabear1991 when I realized I was at over 200 titles I was astonished..letting it go for another hour brought on more and more titles. I thought I had played most of them but I was quite wrong. nothing to fear though I will find and play the crap out of of them! :) did you ever play Luigi's Mansion? it was very interesting!
I can't say that I have? I really had no idea this game even existed until I saw it on Wiki. Good thing I still have my regular Wii! Now all I need to do to try it out is obtain a copy of the GameCube version and a controller. Seems like it could bring on a few days of addictive gaming :3
I wonder if the developers knew that little jumpman would go on to become one of gaming's biggest mascots when creating it for Donkey Kong... I doubt it...
Probably not. But I can't say they didn't milk it(and honestly still are). It was just in the right place at the right time, when gaming was becoming more consistent and back then the graphics it took were pretty good, too. That, paired with a good character was an instant recipe for success.
